Course competences
Code Description
A06 To apply the information and communication technologies in systems of health care.
A15 To direct, evaluate and provide comprehensive nursing care to the individual, the family and the community.
A22 To know the Spanish National Health System. To identify the characteristics of the directive function of nursing services and care management. To know and be able to apply group management techniques.
A23 To know the applicable legislation and the ethical and deontological code of Spanish nursing, which is inspired by the European code of ethics and deontology of nursing. To provide care guaranteeing the right to dignity, privacy, privacy, confidentiality and decision-making capacity of the patient and family. To individualize care considering age, gender, cultural differences, ethnic group, beliefs and values.
B01 To have proficiency in a second foreign language, preferably English, at the level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
B02 To master the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

Course learning outcomes
Description
Identification of the characteristics of the administrative function of nursing services and care management at different levels of collective health care.
Understanding of the theoretical foundations of work organization and its application in health services.
Skill in the design of processes, procedures and protocols, especially those related to user quality and safety patient.
Understanding the management techniques of a teamwork in collective health.
Understanding of the theoretical foundations of administration and its historical evolution.
Manage the different health and clinical information systems.
Application of knowledge of ethics, legislation, financing and nursing care in health management.
Apply the management techniques of a teamwork in collective health.
Understanding of the structure, characteristics and functions of the Spanish National Health System and the Regional Health Service.
