2. Pre-Requisites

In order to enroll in this subject, it is necessary to be enrolled in all pending subjects that the student has pending for the completion of the Degree.

The Final Degree Project (TFG) can only be defended when all the subjects of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th courses have been passed.

3. Justification in the curriculum, relation to other subjects and to the profession

As established by current regulations, degree studies must end with the preparation of a Final Degree Project (TFG) aimed at evaluating the skills associated with the degree.

The TFG must allow the student to integrate the subjects developed during their training, and on the other hand, it will be the way to evaluate the acquisition of skills associated with the degree, especially generic skills.


4. Degree competences achieved in this course

E60 The undergraduate thesis must prove that the student has acquired the knowledge, skills, dexterities, abilities, and aptitudes set by the chosen topic. Therefore, competencies assigned to this module will depend on the chosen topic and will be supervised by the assigned tutor.

5. Objectives or Learning Outcomes
Course learning outcomes
Description
To produce the undergraduate thesis on the chosen topic and present it in writing and verbally.
After choosing the topic for their undergraduate thesis, to collect all the necessary information to define the problem or subject of study, evaluating its relevance in their professional setting.
To make a systematic, organized bibliographic search in the most relevant national and international databases in the field of the chosen topic, and to justify the selection of those articles that will be referenced in the study.
To design an undergraduate thesis meeting scientific standards.

6. Units / Contents
  • Unit 1: Completion of a project/work related to the skills acquired and that allows the integration of training content, following the methodology of evidence-based clinical practice.
  • Unit 2: Oral presentation with audiovisual support of the work, and its public defense.

Although the TFG subject corresponds to the second semester, the assignment of tutors will be made in the first semester.

8. Evaluation criteria and Grading System

According to art. 4 of the UCLM Student Evaluation Regulations, it must be provided to students who cannot regularly attend face-to-face training activities the passing of the subject, having the right (art. 12.2) to be globally graded, in 2 annual calls per subject , an ordinary and an extraordinary one (evaluating 100% of the competences).

  • Continuous assessment:
    The evaluation will be carried out according to the criteria that appear in the Student Guide for the elaboration of the TFG, available in the virtual campus of the subject.
  • Non-continuous evaluation:
    The evaluation will be carried out according to the criteria that appear in the Student Guide for the elaboration of the TFG, available in the virtual campus of the subject.
