3. Justification in the curriculum, relation to other subjects and to the profession

International Economic Environment offers an overview of the features, problems and trends of the International Economy, with particular attention to the structure, effects and regulation of international competition in the tourism sector. The main aim is to understand how the world economy and its main institutions work in a context of globalization and increasing international mobility of goods, capital and people. The main International Economic items are also analyzed with special attention to the economic and organizational structure of the European Union.
