Course competences
Code Description
CB03 Be able to gather and process relevant information (usually within their subject area) to give opinions, including reflections on relevant social, scientific or ethical issues.
CE02 Analyse and interpret natural, environmental and landscape elements in a systemic way, understanding their involvement in sustainable territorial development processes.
CE08 To apply the methods and techniques of geographical analysis especially oriented to the design and management of the instruments of territorial development and protection of the natural and cultural heritage.
CG01 Acquire habits related to learning, organization and planning of individual and collective work in the context of multidisciplinary teams of Geography and territorial development.
CG04 Know the legal regulations in different matters, mainly environmental, territorial planning and human rights, that the profession of geographer entails.
CT03 Use correct oral and written communication.

Course learning outcomes
Description
Know, criticize and manage the methods for the identification and assessment of impacts.
Prepare an environmental inventory adjusted to the legislation.
Improve critical capacity regarding physical and human consequences of development
Propose and coordinate a program of environmental prevention, correction and compensation measures and an Environmental Surveillance and Monitoring program.
Know the legislation related to environmental assessment, its principles and concepts, procedures and basic documentation.
