The framework of the subject is focused in the comprehension of the Geographical objet like a discipline that pays attention to territorial characters of the Spanish country and the Spanish region named Castilla-La Mancha. The use of methods and concepts of Geography pretends to create a real image of the current world, in order to analize their characteres and factors of spatial organization. This subjets pays attention to socioeconomic variables and changes connected to global processes, dispersión of production, new industrial activities, production specialization, changes in agricultural activities, transformations in rural areas, modifications in communication networds, concentration or descentralization of activities, new relationships countryside-city or internal city organization. The sylabus are organized using critical judgments and plural approachs.
The subject is connected to other subjects of the Humanities and Social Studies, like Geography and Enviroment,Geography and Society, Regional Geography of the World, Geography of Globalization, Geography of Contemporary City, Perception and Interpretation of Geographic Reality. However, it is not compulsory to have previously past these subjects for foreing students.
