Code Description
CE04 Gaining knowledge of (i) world geopolitics; and (ii) the concept of international society.
CE05 Using the main research and analysis methods and techniques in social studies (including both quantitative and qualitative techniques) to assess (i) international events and affairs; and (ii) current trends in global society.
CE10 Understanding how international organizations work, as well as their powers and internal structure and composition.
CG01 Researching and sorting out meaningful international information on law and economics relying on various sources (including oral, written and online sources).
CG03 Gaining in-depth knowledge of global societies and political and economic systems, including a gender perspective.
CG04 Accessing and sorting out information and documents related to the fields of study.

Course learning outcomes
Description
Being able to determine the power distribution and spatial allocation (i.e., mapping) of activities related to political, economic, social and cultural systems
Being able to interpret from a political perspective any territorial changes affecting the international order.
Being able to assess and examine territorial conflicts.
(i) Having gained an understanding of all the possible meanings of the concept of "border;" and (ii) being able to discuss the connection between borders and conflicts, security and societies' defining features.
Having gained knowledge of various key concepts related to politics and territory.
