3. Justification in the curriculum, relation to other subjects and to the profession

The subject outlines the main lines of sport teaching in accordance with the Primary Education curriculum, taking into account the social, educational and tactical-technical aspects. Didactic learning, through the living the curriculum methodology, of the pedagogical models of Teaching Games for Understanding and Sport Education are the main content of the subject.

This subject belongs to the itinerary of the Mention of Physical Education.

5. Objectives or Learning Outcomes
Course learning outcomes
Description
Know how to analyze and put into practice the official curriculum of Physical Education for Primary School (6-to-12 year olds).
Know and apply assessment instruments for the different content blocks included in the subject of Physical Education.
Know the different methodologies, being able to choose the best methodology taking into account the group of students and their educational centre.
Teach educational values through Physical Education, knowing how to detect situations where there may be a risk of exclusion and propose solutions in order to either prevent or correct them.
Know the different educational planning systems and plan Physical Education didactic programmes.
Have the capacity to prepare leisure, health or sports programmes as part of extracurricular activities.

8. Evaluation criteria and Grading System

Portfolio assessment 10.00% 10.00% From the Sport Education season, each team will prepare a portfolio with the materials produced. Once this part is approved, the note will be saved during the following academic year
Practicum and practical activities reports assessment 15.00% 15.00% Students will have to deliver a series of practices from those carried out in class for each topic. Once this part is approved, the grade will be saved for the following academic year. It is necessary to pass this test with at least a 4.
Final test 50.00% 50.00% Theoretical exam of development questions. If approved, the grade will be saved for one academic year. The contents taught will be assessed through a written test to be developed. Students in non-continuous modality will take an exam in which, in addition to the questions of the ordinary exam, there will be a theoretical-practical part. It is necessary to pass this test with at least a 4.
Assessment of active participation 10.00% 10.00% Students will have to deliver a series of practices from those carried out in class for each topic. In order to access this part, the student may not miss more than three practical sessions. Once this part is approved, the score will be saved during the following academic year.
Progress Tests 15.00% 15.00% Students will have to deliver a series of practices from those carried out in class for each topic. In order to access this part, the student may not miss more than three practical sessions.

According to art. 4 of the UCLM Student Evaluation Regulations, it must be provided to students who cannot regularly attend face-to-face training activities the passing of the subject, having the right (art. 12.2) to be globally graded, in 2 annual calls per subject , an ordinary and an extraordinary one (evaluating 100% of the competences).

Evaluation criteria for the final exam:
  • Continuous assessment:
    To pass the course you must get a 5 in the average grade, and you must obtain a score of 4 in each of the tests to make an average.
    The evaluation of the practices will be carried out in an integrated manner, in such a way that it will include the Assessment of participation with use in class, the Preparation of the memory of practices and progress tests. The practices will therefore have a global value of 40%.
    The consequences of plagiarism can suppose the suspense in the subject.
    Committing more than 4 spelling mistakes in a test can lead to failure of the test.

    FINAL TEST: You will not be able to leave any question with a score of 0 to pass.

    The portfolio is derived from participation in the Sports Education teaching unit, and is a non-recoverable activity (Art. 4.7 of the Student Assessment Regulation), due to the need to develop a series of learning outcomes to achieve specific skills. and specific mention:
    · Teach educational values ¿¿through Physical Education, knowing how to detect situations of exclusion or risk of exclusion and propose actions to correct and prevent it.
    · Know how to analyze and put into practice the official curriculum in the area of ¿¿Physical Education for Primary (period: 6-12 years).
    · Learn about different educational planning designs and carry out Physical Education programming.
    · Know the different methodologies to be carried out, having the ability to choose the best of them according to the characteristics of the group of students and the educational center.
    · Know and know how to apply the evaluation instruments for the different content blocks that make up the subject of Physical Education.
    · Possess the ability to carry out leisure, health or sports programs in the extracurricular field.
    These learning outcomes are essential for achieving the following skills through the intervention programs taught: CB02, CG02, CG05MEF05, MEF06, MEF07

    - If necessary, any necessary modification or adaptation in the teaching guides as a result of any change in the teaching or evaluation model derived from the evolution of the pandemic will be documented through an addendum.
    The verification of the fraudulent performance of an evaluation test or the non-compliance with the instructions set for the performance of the test will give rise to a fail grade (with a numerical grade of 0) in said test. In the particular case of the final tests, the suspense will be extended to the corresponding call.
