This subject complements the training of future teachers in the area of ¿¿Physical Education that they have received through the first and second year subjects, within the Degree. With this third contact in the didactics of Physical Education, we intend that the students do not not only dominate the contents of the area of ¿¿knowledge, but also be able to program and apply them in a critical and reasoned way in the various curricular levels. Article 93.2 of Organic Law 2/2006 of May 3, on Education, referring to Primary Education Teachers, establishes that 'Primary education It will be taught by teachers, who will have competence in all the areas of this level. The teaching of music, physical education, languages foreigners or those other teachings determined by the Government, after consulting the Autonomous Communities, will be taught by teachers with the corresponding specialization or qualification'. On the other hand, the Faculties of Education of the UCLM have accredited a long and fruitful experience in the training of Specialist Teachers in Physical Education, which make it very suitable to continue teaching the studies of mention that, in any case, they once again constitute a type of specialty similar to the previous one. Lastly, it must be pointed out that the demand for these studies is traditionally high, which makes us presume that there should be no problems to cover the places offered. The subject will train the future teacher of Graduate in Primary Education, to promote and facilitate the learning and skills of Education Physics, of the boys and girls of the educational stage of their own work. For this, the subject has an adequate theoretical framework, and a wide range of practical proposals and seminars, which bring the student closer to the reality of their future teaching work. Thus, through different types of tasks related to Physical Education, students will have to coherently manage the different elements that distinguishes the curriculum, and they will prepare examples of sessions and work units based on a competency-based methodology. Ultimately, you will experience a large part of the actions that the administration will request of them as future teachers in the development of their professional work.
