8. Evaluation criteria and Grading System
Evaluation System Continuous assessment Non-continuous evaluation * Description
Final test 50.00% 60.00% This will be a theory exam about the theoretical and practical
contents taught in the subject.
Assessment of active participation 10.00% 10.00% Students will hand-in a report after each practice, where it
checks the learning outcomes during this practice. This report
will content the activities and the reflections and conclusions
after what you have experienced during this practice. It will be
necessary to attend at least 80% of the practical lessons to be
assessed in this part.
Assessment of problem solving and/or case studies 30.00% 20.00% Write a 700-word critical appraisal of your personal learning
experiences (or a particular experience) in relation to two topics
of sport/physical education to date. You should make
comparisons between your experiences and the material
presented in module lectures and core readings. ensure your
work is fully and carefully referenced. (To be in good draft form
by the weeks 14 and 15 seminars).
Combined reference list from sections (i) and (ii) in alphabetical
order and in the correct format as presented in the referencing
protocol (APA format).
Portfolio assessment 10.00% 10.00% Each topic has associated one activity linked to the practical
lesson. In this Portfolio will be registered the different activities
in each topic, with a critical and reflective way in which the
student explain and relate the living practical lesson with the
content studied. To be assessed in this part you will need to
attend at least 80% of the practical lessons .
Total: 100.00% 100.00%
According to art. 4 of the UCLM Student Evaluation Regulations, it must be provided to students who cannot regularly attend face-to-face training activities the passing of the subject, having the right (art. 12.2) to be globally graded, in 2 annual calls per subject , an ordinary and an extraordinary one (evaluating 100% of the competences).

Evaluation criteria for the final exam:
  • Continuous assessment:
To pass this subject, the student will have to pass the final test, as well as the Critical analysis and the practical lessons.
    1. Exam: You are not allowed to get a zero score in more than one question.(out of 6-8). To pass this final exam you will need at least a 4 , in a 0-10 point
    exam .
2.- Practices assessment: Non recoverable. Student`s practice will not be assessed if she or he doesn.t attend at least 80% of the practical lessons.
3.-Critical analysis: Because of the nature of the seminars and the task, it will not be possible to switch seminar groups. It will be necessary to pass with 4
points , in a 0-10 point system, according to the teacher recommendations.
4.- Portfolio. It will be necessary to attend at least 80% of the practical lessons to be assessed in this tasks.
This Portfolio has to do with the active participation in the practical lessons, as well as register information that can be extracted from it. This is a non
recoverable activity (Art. 4.7. Reglamento de Evaluación del Estudiante), due to the need to get some learning outcomes in practical activities such as sport
initiation, health and sport, body image and body language.
These learning outcomes are essential to get the key competences through the practical lessons : 1.2.3.II.03, 1.2.5.II.04, CB02,CB03,CB04,CG10,CT03.
For every mistake of those included in the "List of mistakes to avoid" (see the Moodle), the student will miss 0.2 marks in the corresponding activity up to a
maximum of 1.6 marks (8 mistakes). If the mistake is repeated, the repetition(s) will be also penalized.
    * The verification of the fraudulent realization of an evaluation test or the breach of the instructions set for the performance of the test will result in a failure grade (with a numerical grade of 0) in this test. In the particular case of the final tests, the suspense will be extended to the corresponding call.
    * * If applicable, any modifications or adaptations needed in the teaching guides as a result of a change in the teaching or evaluation model derived from the
evolution of the pandemic will be documented in a later addendum.
  • Non-continuous evaluation:
The students that choose this option or those that don.t reach the minimum attendance required to the practical lessons, will have to pass a theory and
practice final test , that will have the 70% of the total mark.
This final test will have the theoretical contents (60%) as well as the defense and assessment or problem solving and case studies of the practice contents
(40%), that the student have to pass both to them separately to pass the subject.
The other 30% will be assessed through a critical analysis adapted to this modality ,previously explained by the teacher in a tutor hour. The student will
need at least a 4 in each part to pass this subject.
For every mistake of those included in the "List of mistakes to avoid" (see Moodle), the student will miss 0.2 marks in the corresponding activity/test/presentation/exam up to a maximum of 1.6 marks (8 mistakes).
