The subject of "Museology and Museography" (4th year, 8th semester) appears linked to the History of Art and cultural heritage in general (historical, archaeological, artistic, scientific, etc.) since museums are classified in a wide range of specialties and subjects, housing all kinds of objects and materials. It is also related to the management of that heritage. Likewise, it is a subject that completes the range of subjects related to the History of Art included in the curriculum.

The future graduate, interested in the world of museology, will get the basic resources to perform technical tasks in cataloging, assembly of exhibitions, manipulation of movable assets, heritage conservation, etc., as well as museum curator, technical assistant, or curator of exhibitions, and it also serves as a professional training in the field of tourism and heritage management.
