2. Pre-Requisites
It is advisable to have passed the intermediate Microeconomics and Macroeconomics courses.
Possess a remarkable mastery of Mathematics as a work tool.
Show readiness to read sources other than class notes and textbooks.
3. Justification in the curriculum, relation to other subjects and to the profession
The aim of the Microeconomics Complements section is to analyze, from the point of view of Microeconomics, one of the most important sectors of Western economies, such as Sport. It is also intended that students apply and expand knowledge in Econometrics from a purely practical point of view. For this, they will carry out weekly practices with one of the statistical / econometric packages most used in social science research such as Stata. In these practices, real data will be used, which will aim to help students learn to work with databases. In the Macroeconomics Complements section, issues related to the core of a basic course in Intermediate Macroeconomics are presented, as an extension and deepening. In all cases, the theoretical analysis will be complemented with the study of concrete examples referring to the Spanish or European economy, using statistical data and empirical studies about the recent evolution of our macroeconomic environment.

According to art. 4 of the UCLM Student Evaluation Regulations, it must be provided to students who cannot regularly attend face-to-face training activities the passing of the subject, having the right (art. 12.2) to be globally graded, in 2 annual calls per subject , an ordinary and an extraordinary one (evaluating 100% of the competences).
Evaluation criteria for the final exam:

Continuous assessment:As the subject is divided into two parts the grade of the subject will be the average of the parts of the subject (it is customary that both parts have been approved). The base of the evaluation system of the part of Microeconomics Complements are the weekly practices. Students who deliver all practices with a certain level of quality will pass the Microeconomics part. Additional score is achieved by intervening in class and doing voluntary exercises proposed by the professor in class. It will be mandatory the presentation of some practice throughout the course.
