3. Justification in the curriculum, relation to other subjects and to the profession

This subject belongs to MODULE A - Social Work: concepts, methods and theories, specifically it is MATERIA A2 - Methods, models, and techniques of Social Work. It is taught in Grade 3 and assumes that the student has already placed in the basic contents of Social Work.

The purpose of the subject is for the student to acquire, on the methodology of Social Work, the specific knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for his / her professional practice.

5. Objectives or Learning Outcomes
Course learning outcomes
Description
Knows and critically understands both theoretical and methodological approaches on Social Work.
Capable of planning, implementing and assessing intervention plans with the people attended and other professionals, negotiating the use of services, and reviewing the effectiveness of these plans.
Knows and is able to apply the specific methods to any area of intervention.
Is able to use the technology of social intervention projects management: analysis, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
