Course competences
Code Description
CB03 Be able to gather and process relevant information (usually within their subject area) to give opinions, including reflections on relevant social, scientific or ethical issues.

Description
Understands and analyzes the extent and implications of policy decisions.
Understands and knows of political institutions, power mechanisms and politicians decision-making.

Know the importance for professionals of social intervention of the principles and values ¿¿of the Constitution and respect, protection and promotion of all human rights.
Understand that rights should inspire the design, implementation and evaluation of social interventions.
Understand that it is not possible to deal with an effective intervention project without respect for the dignity of people and their rights
He/She is able to reflect on the different dimensions of power.
He/She is able to critically analyze the functioning of political institutions in a democratic system.
Understand the importance of citizen participation in the design, implementation and evaluation of projects that carry out Social Work, in our Social and Democratic State of Law.
