2. Pre-Requisites

To study this subject it is advisable to have studied the modules of Direction and Management and the rest of the subjects of the module of Information Technologies.

3. Justification in the curriculum, relation to other subjects and to the profession

Aware of the difficulties of inserting graduates into the labor market, the University of Castilla-La Mancha, and this School in particular, has been developing for some time a Program of Internships in Companies, through which students are given the possibility of carrying out training stays in companies and collaborating institutions.

8. Evaluation criteria and Grading System

Test 40.00% 40.00% Report issued by the company's tutor. The report issued by the company tutor will be evaluated and will contain information about the development of the work by the student, level of integration, teamwork, attendance and participation in meetings, etc.
Test 60.00% 60.00% Report issued by the academic tutor. The report of evaluation of competences issued by the professional tutor will be valued as well as the academic follow-up carried out during the internship period.

According to art. 4 of the UCLM Student Evaluation Regulations, it must be provided to students who cannot regularly attend face-to-face training activities the passing of the subject, having the right (art. 12.2) to be globally graded, in 2 annual calls per subject , an ordinary and an extraordinary one (evaluating 100% of the competences).

Evaluation criteria for the final exam:
  • Continuous assessment:
    The internship is a face-to-face activity and must therefore be carried out in the assigned company. In this way, the tutors will continuously observe the progress of the student in order to issue their reports. After the internship is completed and the student's report is presented to the academic tutor. The reports of the academic tutor and the company tutor will be evaluated.
  • Non-continuous evaluation:
    The internship is a face-to-face activity and must therefore be carried out in the assigned company. In this way, the tutors will continuously observe the progress of the student in order to issue their reports. A non-continuous evaluation does not make sense.

Specifications for the resit/retake exam:
Same conditions as in the ordinary call.
Specifications for the second resit / retake exam:
Same conditions as in the ordinary call.
